Hi, I'm James Lick and I started this site to share information about hemochromatosis. In early June 2011 I was diagnosed with iron overload caused by hemochromatosis. As of late August 2011 I have completed treatment to lower my ferritin levels and am now in maintenance to prevent my ferritin levels from rising again. The goal of this site is to provide a central user-generated repository of detailed information about hemochromatosis so that others affected by this can easily find out what they need to know, all in one place.
